El Rancho Event Center (“El Rancho,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an event venue at 2780 S Broadway Ave, Othello, WA 99344, and this website at www.elranchoeventcenter.com (the “Site”).

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and through inquiries you send us from it. If you book an event with us, your signed event agreement may include additional terms about your information.

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to keep the Site working.

• Information you give us: when you use an inquiry form, email, call, or message us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, event date, estimated guest count, and anything you write in your message.
• Technical information: like most websites, our hosting servers automatically record standard request data, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. We use it to keep the Site secure and running.
• Language preference: if you switch between English and Spanish, your browser saves that choice on your own device (in local storage) so the Site remembers it. This preference is not sent to us.

Please do not send sensitive information through the Site or by email, such as Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, bank account details, passwords, or health information. We do not request it and do not need it to answer your inquiry.

The inquiry forms on this Site do not send your information to our web servers or store it there. When you select “Send Inquiry,” the form opens your own email app with a pre-filled message addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that email yourself.

Once you send it, your message is delivered to our business email account and handled like any other email we receive.

• Social media and messaging links: links to Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp take you to those services, and their privacy policies apply once you leave our Site.

We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, plan and deliver any event you book, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you and provide a copy.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete your information, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, or contractual reasons.
• Stop sending you promotional messages. We will not add you to a marketing list without your permission.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We do not collect consumer health data, as defined by Washington’s My Health My Data Act, through this Site.

The Site is intended for adults planning events. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Quinceañeras and other events for young guests are planned with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, as described on our Security page. No website, email, or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is operated in the United States and intended for visitors in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
